Our take
Buy this one if the scene has to work with the lights off — the grey-blue night palette carries it, where brighter nooks go flat unlit. At 216 pieces it's the quickest of the original four, with four LEDs picking out the potion and wand shops separately. The wizarding theme is unlicensed and generic, so franchise fans should look elsewhere. Rolife itself rates it 4/5 and lists it as advanced; glue and two AAA cells aren't in the box.

What works
- Four independently controllable LEDs on a touch switch pick out the potion shop and wand shop separately
- The grey-and-blue night palette reads well even unlit, unlike brighter nooks that depend on the LEDs being on
- At 216 pieces and about four hours it is the fastest of the original four-kit series
- Pre-colored laser-cut plywood means no paint at any point
- Multi-layered building fronts and a brick doorway give real front-to-back depth for a kit this size
What to watch for
- Glue is required and Rolife ships it inconsistently because of customs rules, so plan on buying eco, wood, or strong glue yourself
- Rolife rates it 4/5 and includes it on its own advanced-builders list, citing elaborate miniature accessories and fantasy architecture as the hard part
- The wizarding theme is entirely unlicensed and generic, so there are no recognisable franchise characters or branding
- Two AAA batteries are not in the box
