Our take
Flowers are the whole job here. Rolife puts it on its own advanced list at 4/5 and names the dense floral detailing as the reason: five hours for only 176 pieces means the time goes into petals, 14 flower types and wisteria vines, not structure. Mortise-and-tenon parts mostly snap together and it's the widest nook of the group. Glue isn't in the box, and shaping paper blossoms is not everyone's evening.
We have not built this kit. This entry is based on the manufacturer's published specifications and on reports from builders who have finished it — not on a build of our own. See how we review.
What works
- Upgraded interlocking mortise-and-tenon design means most parts snap together securely and glue is only needed on a few small components
- 14 different flower types plus wisteria vines give it the densest botanical detail in the range
- Lowest piece count here at 176, so individual parts are larger and less fiddly than the 250-piece kits
- Stained glass panels, a curved spiral staircase and side-opening windows are real working features, not printed detail
- Widest finished footprint of this group at roughly 20.3cm, so it fills a shelf bay properly
What to watch for
- Rolife puts it on its own advanced-builders list at 4/5 and names the dense floral detailing as the specific challenge
- Five hours for only 176 pieces confirms the time goes into fiddly flowers rather than structure
- You still have to supply glue; it may be missing from the box for customs reasons
- Sits a price tier above the original four kits despite having the fewest pieces of any kit here
