Privacy policy
Short version: this is a reference site. We don't have accounts, we don't run a shop, and we don't sell anyone's data. The detail below explains exactly what does happen.
Who is responsible
AK Mini Creators operates akminicreators.com and is the data controller for the limited information described here. We are based in Texas, United States. You can reach us at privacy@akminicreators.com.
What we collect
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful.
Google acts as our processor for this. Where analytics storage is
permitted, GA4 sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which contain a randomly generated
identifier used to recognise a returning browser. It records things like
pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type
and referring site. IP addresses are anonymised.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland: we run Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics storage set to denied by default for your region. That instruction is issued before Google's tag loads. In practice this means no analytics cookies are set on your device and no identifiers are stored; Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals, from which it estimates traffic patterns. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are set to denied in every region.
GA4 data retention is configured to 14 months, after which user-level records are deleted automatically. You can opt out of Google Analytics in any region using Google's official opt-out browser add-on .
We are not currently collecting email addresses through this site. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it.
Links to other sites
Kit pages link out to manufacturers and retailers. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy policy, and they may set their own cookies. We have no control over and no visibility into that. None of those links are affiliate links, and none of them earn us anything.
Advertising
This site shows no advertising and contains no advertising or ad-personalisation scripts. If that ever changes, this policy and our cookie policy will be updated first, and visitors in regions that require it will be asked for consent before any advertising technology loads.
What we never do
- We don't sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We don't build advertising profiles or run retargeting.
- We don't ask you to create an account, because there isn't one.
Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: consent for any analytics storage on your device (which, as described above, defaults to denied in the EEA, UK and Switzerland); consent for email updates; and our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate, non-identifying site usage in order to keep the site useful.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@akminicreators.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires. Realistically, we hold very little: usually nothing that identifies you at all.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our service providers, including Google, are based in the United States, so any data they process on our behalf is processed there. Those providers use the transfer mechanisms required by law, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. Because the site's data practices are driven by the same configuration that controls its features, this page describes what the site does today, not what it might do later.
